Lunds VK har gjort klart med förra årets poängmaskin högerspiker Sławomir Judycki. Det är en mycket viktig kugge som nu är klar till kommande säsong. Sławomir låg i toppen av poängligan i elitserien i fjol och snittade 4,42 poäng per set, då hans säsong fick ett abrupt avslut i februari på grund av en allvarlig fotledsskada. Han uppvisar ett varierat anfallsspel och kan gå både på kraft och även med finess.
Klubbchefen Stefan Sjöström om Sławomir:
– Det känns helt fantastiskt att vi får se Sławek i Lundatröjan nästa år igen. Med tanke på hans svåra skada i februari känns det först och främst riktigt skönt att han är tillbaka, samtidigt ska vi skynda långsamt. Han har gjort ett helt utomordentligt arbete med sin rehabilitering! Jag är sedan övertygad att vi också i år får se Sławek bidra stort i anfallsspelet.

You have just signed a contract to continue playing for Lunds VK the 2018-19 season. Great news! What are your thoughts?
I’m really grateful for opportunity to continue my career. I hope can surprise my fans as I work hard to come back to play even in the first league game.
Your first season with Lunds VK had some great ups as one of the topscorers in the league and unfortunately also some downs as season ended abruptly in February. Reports are that the rehab of your ankle is going really well. Tell us more!
The last months were very hard. Since March my focus has been solely on fixing my ankle. I train every day, sometimes I try to not care about the pain and do my best to come back to play volleyball. It was really a terrible accident. My physiotherapist said that from week to week things are getting better so I hope I will start next season in time. Now I know that the rest of July and August I will be spending much time on continuing my rehabilitation.
What are your goals for the coming season?
I would like to help my team to be one of the best teams in Sweden.
How would you describe yourself as a player using three words?
Focused on the goal, hard-working and effective.
