TOP WOMEN SUFFERS BIGGEST LOSS OF THE SEASON
Our top women played today on the road against Hylte/Halmstad, and the match was over before it began.
Hylte/Halmstad – Lund 3-0 (25-13, 25-14, 25-11)
Hylte proved in all faces of the game why they are considered a top team and we are not. We delivered an inconsistent performance on offense which both in and out of system seemed out of sync, resulting in too many free ball situations for Hylte where they could do as they pleased.
Games like these are to be expected this year, but we still have to show up in a bigger capacity than we did today. Unable to put pressure on the opponents will 99% of the time result in a loss.
On the positive side we have shown better than today. We can start comparing our performance each week to the week before and it helps us see where we need to go to have success.
Player of the match was voted Lovisa Bergh and our internal MVP was given to Sara Hansson.
“You’re never as good as you feel after a big win, and you’re never as bad as you feel after a big loss.”
GO LUND!
Next game is at home on Sunday the 4th of December at 17.30 when Örebro visits Idrottshallen i Lund.
