Lunds VK U23 finished in style today at the U23 SM tournament in Falkenberg.

With a 2-0 win in the 1st match vs. Kungälv, the girls qualified for the silver bracket final where we would face Örebro with a couple of elite players. Our girls however, went in unimpressed and kept fighting through a 1st set where Örebro lead most of the way, but in the end we took the set with impressive serving and smart attacks.
2nd set felt a little nervous from the girls, but we still kept the score close and we had chances near the end to steal another set and thereby the win, but Örebro kept their cool and took the set. 3rd set only to 15, but we never found the mental balance after 2 very well played sets and with high intensity, so Örebro won the match and left us with 2 wins and 3 losses for the weekend.
All girls got to play both days, and everyone improved a lot over the 5 matches. We are a happy group returning to Lund, proud of what we delivered this weekend.
Thank you to the parents who came to cheer, it meant a lot for us!
